I just bought a Gigabyte Aorus RTX 2070 8GB (not Xtreme) video card and the screen overlay output in games using MSI Afterburner dont match the cards specifications. My main concern is the card is running at 2040MHz instead of its true specs of 1770MHz, I have not applied any overclock so Afterburner is running at stock, here is my rigs components:
CPU - i7 4930K 6 core 3.40GHz turbo of 3.90GHz not overclocked
Motherboard - Asus Rampage 4 Black Edition
GPU - Gigabyte Aorus RTX 2070 8GB Base 1410MHz Boost 1770MHz GDDR6 14000MHz
SSD - Samsung 860 Pro SATA 6GB/s
Monitor - Dell U3014 60Hz
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
Corsair Vengance 32GB DDR3 1866MHz
Corsair AX1200i PSU
I aslo see that the GPUs memory clock is only running at 7001MHz but its true value is 14000MHz - is all this normal or have I not setup this card correctly?
