Is my Ryzen bottlenecking my 1080ti?

I have an MSI GTX 1080ti and a Ryzen 7 2700 (Non x) @3.2Ghz for my gaming and streaming PC. I mainly play Fortnite at 144hz as well as Destiny 2, COD BO4 and so on.

Since Fortnite is my main game, I’m more concerned about performance than the rest. I think CPU is important for Fortnite, and it’s highly intensive on the processor. I’ve been getting drops during build fights and at POIs to about 90, on all low settings, and it doesn’t help to bump settings for more gpu power, it basically stays the same or gets worse. If you’re using 144hz and are dropping down this much you can understand my pain. So what do you guys think!? Is my cpu bottlenecking this beast card?

Thanks!

I suppose it's 1080p. It's not a bottleneck, but a CPU limitation. Ryzen has slower clock speeds and the game doesn't use all the cores/threads. If you overclocked your CPU it would probably bring up your low fps.
