I've had my SSD for 2 years now. But today was the first time I actually looked at the speeds while copying a folder from one place to another. The folder weights only 25MB, and is made of 3800 (small) files and 600 folders. The copying speed was at max 1MB/s! mostly ~800KB/s..
Is it normal?

That is a poor indicator of drive speed.
Copying thousands of tiny files, within the same drive....that WILL be slow.

Samsung Magician or CrystalDiskMark will show the actual drive performance.
