Hi all,

After upgrading to a 2700x system, I've been getting pretty reliable blue screens under heavy load. I haven't been able to solve the issue yet, so I'm wondering if the power supply could potentially be a culprit? Maybe the 2700x power needs could be more than this older PSU can handle?

If anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear them.

Thanks!

What BSOD stop codes do you get?

What are your full system specs?

This particular SeaSonic is a very strong unit, although age can cause problems for PSUs.
Usually, an unstable/inadequate PSU will cause unexpected restarts, not BSOD, but anything is possible.

Hi,

Actually, after a bit more testing, it looks like it might be Large/Huge pages in Windows that may be causing the issue, and not the PSU. I'll try to diagnose this further, but thanks for the ideas!
