Hi, first and foremost my PC specs

Ryzen 5 3600
GTX 1650 SUPER
Adata XPG Gammix D30 16GB 3000mhz - Single Stick
Asus Prime B450m-A Motherboard
Cooler Master MWE Gold 650W V2 80 Plus Gold
Crucial BX500 SSD

So I was checking the performance of my GPU in the game Guardians of the Galaxy on youtube with gameplay videos and I noticed people with either the same or very similar CPU and with the same GPU - GTX 1650 SUPER at stock were getting a better framerate than me

For example in the first level with all the bright eye candy on high and 1080p they usually get 40 - 55 fps while at the same my rig is hitting 35 -39 and even goes below 30 in some scenarios with quick camera movement while theirs don't

So I'm very much wondering could that RAM module mentioned above which is a single stick 16GB be holding me back or do I need to investigate further on other components?

Oh and the RAM is running at 3000Mhz, made sure of that by setting it on the BIOS

Would love to hear back and would really appreciate any guidance please ,thanks

Solution
Single stick of ram will choke Ryzen performance significantly.

However don't compare directly to YouTube benchmarks since there are many factors that can make their performance different from yours.
