Is my SSD Dying?

Lately, my computer has been acting up. Sometimes, I am unable to open programs and get all kinds of IO errors. Also, UEFI doesn't always detect the drive on boot. Also, the screen sometimes turns black overnight and never comes back until I force the computer off. The GNOME Disk Checker says its 'OK', but I wouldn't be too surprised if the SSD was dying, as the company sent me 2 DOA SSDs. So, does it sound like its dying? If so, what "proof" do I need to show customer support to RMA it?
Thanks!

Thanks! I already backed up after the first sign of trouble, but I'll sync it once more. Regarding the RMA process, is it good enough to say that it's having problems, as I can't claim it to be technically dead?
Thanks!
