The SSD in question is my 6-7 year old OCZ AGILITY SATA2 128GB SSD. It has been a solid performer for many many years though I know it has been lucky to last even this long. So I want to know from my issues of hanging boot times (usually 3-4 minutes) and long-*** shut down times (more than 30 minutes, just force-shut downed after that), is my SSD at it's end of life?

I agree with backing up your important files. Does everything else work fine on the SSD? If you copy a big file to it, does it copy at a decent speed? If everything else works fine, it could be an issue with Windows.

It's a 7 year old Sata2 SSD, it's almost slower than my 1TB HDD, thank you both for your feedback. Looks like I'm going to be wadding out a further £60-£100.
