Hello everyone,

to give a little background, one day i came to wake up my pc (was on installing a game over night) to find it dead, hdd unrecognized in bios, so new hdd, and system feels wonky, so i installed new OS and started to do some tests, i believe gpu is dead as well, and maybe ssd got something as well.

i feel no issues with the drive, super fast boot, however i notice on perfmon that sometimes the graph tops on the ssd drive (i have 2 more drives, ssd is the system)

so i run hdtune and these are the results:

(on google i found tests of same drive, faster and the line is continuous, mine is not as you can see)
(also it was 20mb/s avg faster on win7 few hours ago before installing win10)

what do you say? any more tests i can do?

(for context, my gpu is giving half the score it should give, i have either a faulty gpu or psu now, that died on the same event when the hdd died as well)

thats the thing, i dont know if the SSD is faulty or not, why i'm here to get some lights.

the gpu i will have to buy a new one and find out as well, all benchmarks she underperforms very highly.

ps: ssd self diagnostics say drive is ok

What I'm saying is get rid of the PSU if it has killed the old GPU otherwise you'll end up killing the new one! For a SSD those benchmark results are very slow, slower than most 7200rpm HDD.

oh damn, is there anything i can do?
health reports say he is ok, what could be the cause for the slowness?

so did i fried the entire computer with that hdd spending all night installing a game?
- next day that hdd was making noises (never had before)
- now gpu is ultra slow
- you say ssd is ultra slow as well
- my 1tb wd black shows only a avg speed of 88mb (i assume that is bad as well)

are all of these really broken or is something here making them behave like this?

i'm really lost, everything was working perfectly until that damn install 🙁

can anyone give me some troubleshooting tips (already formated system)

I'd change the PSU asap to make sure it isn't what is doing it, you don't normally get second chances with them, it could already of damaged the whole system.

I will receive a new PSU tomorrow, i bought a Enermax Triathlor Eco ETL800EWT

Can you please advise what steps i should take to troubleshoot all hardware?
which programs do you recommend?

i've replaced the PSU now, but SSD seems to have the same performance as before.

also dont know if those spykes in the start are normal or not.

i've run tests with a different tool and it clearly says the drive is underperforming to the expected values.

is it safe to use still this drive? not caring about the less performance
