Is my USB 3.0 useless?

I have a Zalman z11 case with USB 3.0s. I have a asus m5a97 motherboard with no USB 3.0 headers.

Does that mean my 3.0 USB ports on my case are useless and I cannot do anything about it?

If the motherboard does not support USB 3.0, then you will be limited to whatever it DOES support.

Yeah okay but I can't connect my header because the motherboard has no header. So my front two 3.0 won't work then?

It looks like the 3.0 header is diagonal from the 24 pin ATX connector, near the ram.

Delving deeper into the specs:
USB Ports
ASMedia® USB 3.0 controller :
2 x USB 3.0 port(s) (2 at back panel, blue)

AMD SB950 controller :
12 x USB 2.0 port(s) (6 at back panel, black, 6 at mid-board)


So it would seem that there are no USB 3.0 headers on the motherboard. And as such, nothing to connect to the 3.0 ports on the case.
