Is my VGA cable, or Graphics card driver bad?

My native resolution isn't showing on the resolution slider. I tried to re-install my graphics card driver numerous times, but it won't work. My VGA cable has a crooked pin, but i'm not sure if that's causing the problem.

For a start - replace the cable. Next use Control Panel, Display Settings to set the resolution.
