Is my video card fried?

I got a system with a Geforce 3 TI 500. Everytime it is turned on the the monitor goes blank after two minutes but it's still showing that it's recieving a signal. The PC doesn't lock up at all.

Have you tried using another monitor, maybe? Have you installed latest driver for your agp controller?

Actually, I haven't started troubleshooting yet since I'm in Iraq. I'm just trying to get some of my troubleshooting out of the way before I get home to save some time that I can use for something else.

The monitor was the first thing I'm gonna check, then I'll switch out the graphics card (hopefully it is my graphics card since I got a Geforce 3 and a Geforce 2 TI spares), reinstall the Det drivers.

Can the problem be my power supply?
