I got my Gigabyte GV-N108TAORUSX W-11GD AORUS Xtreme GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Waterforce 11GD today and I was a little suprised.after starting the pc i saw that the temp in the idle mode was 75 celsius. I started AC origin and the temp increase until 90 and 10 fps a friend has the same and in the idle mode the card has betwween 25 and 40 celsius.

Solution

You have warranty? I don't know really... My GTX 750 had problems and went 50 on idle 110 on load and it would crash everytime. It was the fan who was responsible for this, so I am thinking that you may have the same problem, if you have warranty go and ask for replace. Or even better is to take your GPU to your friends PC and check the temps if they are same as you had that means GPU is faulty if it has normal temps then your airflow or something else is bad.

It is due to cooler on GPU which is probably faulty. What would you rate your airflow? 1-10 (be honest, lying wont help)

I would rate 5 to 7. all places are full. On the front 2 120 mm income. On the back the outcome with the radiator of the cpu watercooling. On the top 1 140 mm out and the 120 mm out for the gpu watercooling

try put the rad outside case just to see if internal case temp was the cause, if not, get faster fan replace the ori fan just to see fan was the cause, if not, redo TIM (if RMA is out of question), get decent TIM (Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, Arctic Silver 5 etc) see video tutorial, if all that don't work then it's prob water pump faulty. I'd never use it before proper checking, forcing it on hot ambient surrounding would accelerate graphic card VRM circuity degradation.

The pump was broken, git a new graphic card and I have 25 Celsius in Idle and 35 Celsius when I playing games.

Thanks. :)

No problem!
