2 days ago I ordered a used Zotac GTX 970 from Amazon warehouse along with Day 1 shipping to SLI with my first Zotac 970. It arrived yesterday but when I installed it, the card had a yellow caution next to it in device manager and in properties, it gave me a code 43. I tried reinstalling the drivers, installing the drivers with the disk it came with, doing a clean install of the drivers with the nvidia driver installer, cleaning the nvidia drivers thoroughly with guru3d driver uninstalled and reinstalling the drivers, and switching my DVI to the second 970 and tried reinstalling the nvidia drivers. Nothing worked because I still got code 43. But I did one thing that caught my eye.
I tried switching the PCI slots between the two 970s and I noticed that code 43 followed the second 970 into the new slot I inserted it into. So I'm wondering if it's not a. Driver issue, could there be something wrong with the card itself? Should I send the card back to Amazon and request for a replacement?
