Hello,
I don't really understand much about PCs performance (besides the basics), so I would be thankful if somebody could give me some insight about my computer performance when running games. My setup is the following:
- Windows 10 pro
-AMD FX 8350 8Core processor (4 GHz)
-16 GB DDR3 RAM (837MHz)
-Asus R9 280 series (3072MB)
-Hard drive: WDC WD10EZEX-60M2NA0 ATA Device (931 GB, IDE)
-Motherboard: ASRock 970 extreme4
The main issues I am having are not only low FPS performances when playing new games (which I understand since this PC componentes aren't exactly the best or the most upadated ones), but huge FPS drops in certain situations that are accompained by some strange sound distorsion, like if I were hearing the game in slow motion. To set some examples, I get about 50-70 FPS while playing Battlefield 1 with medium-high settings, but FPS suddenly drop below 30 and that strange sound distorsion I was talking about happens. Which is even weirder, it sometimes gets fixed by ALT+Tab to get to the desktop and then going back into the game (althought it's just a temporal fix and problems come back fast). There are games that I had no problem playing like Battlefield 3 that are giving me now problems too. I've even tried with games that require very low specs to get high performances (like League of Legends) and I am also having trouble in certain moments with them. I'm not sure if it may be just a software issue or if I should replace some of my components because the they either are too old or broken. Could somebody give me a hand with this?
