Thinking as new processors are coming out, the slightly older ones will be reduced in price and both will be much better than the MAIN PC specs in my signature.
But unsure whether graphics cards are still expensive or whether they'll ever come down in price as people are prepared to pay higher prices and they're getting more and more powerful.
The other thing to balance is power = need.
I don't do intense gaming (although have done some video encoding recently and plan to do some more - videos no more than 30 mins but from SD to HD). The MAIN PC in my signature was built to the games I play the most of (Planet Zoo and Planet Coaster are the most resource intensive).
