Who in their right mind would say the problem with the GTX 970 is a feature? Obviously the guy in charge of nvidia. False advertising is not a feature - PERIOD!!!

the thing was nobody was expecting the GTX 970 to have 4GB of VRAM in the first place, so they were able to cram that extra GB in there at a cost to performance of that 1GB.

The reason I started another is because it was the head of nvidia say such BS. Regardless of how well the card performs (or does not up to specs)... it was advertised as something else.

I wish people would not make such a big deal out of this thing. Sure there was some missing info when the gtx 970 launched, but not enough to make it such a big deal. Especially when the card performs just as good as advertised.

yes.... it's in all the previous threads .... they shuda just stated it clearly. Same ole same ole... same story w/ the heat / noise issues with AMD R9 series and the frame lag issue before that. Marketing people being marketing people.
