Is OC Genie 2 a program that works? Will my i7 3770k make a explosion?

Hey Guys im new to overclocking and i dont really like doing stuff in bios so is OC Genie 2 a program that will work? I dont want a extreme overclock, i want to be on the safe side!

oc genie should work just fine. I have used the asus one just to test against my own manual overclock and it did a really good job.

If you are running a stock CPU cooler I would not use it or overclock at all

I will get some noctua or corsair cooler before i overclock.

I also use a hyper 212 and a 4.5 OC is easily attained with this $25 cooler. so I would use the same one I do or if you want to spend more the rest on the comparison I sent you will work just fine also.
