[SOLVED] Is One 8 Pin Enough?

I'm looking to get either a i9 10850k or a i7 10700k and a Aorus z490 Elite AC motherboard. The motherboard has a 8 pin CPU connector and it has a 4 pin CPU connector. Would I be able to power either CPU with just the 8 pin CPU connector? If so, would the CPU still turbo? I'm using a EVGA G3 650W PSU.

I'm 95% sure you can use just the 1 8 pin, but it will obviously be better if you plugged in both.

I'm under the impression the extra CPU power connector is if you want to do a hardcore overclock on the CPU and keep the all-core turbo speeds high. So as long as the 8-pin is used, it should be fine.
