Is overclocking with a Asrock mobo the same with a Asus one?

I plan to buy a motherboard and I want to oc my pentium g3258. I plan to buy Asrock Z97M Anniversary. Is overclocking a Asrock Z97M Anniversary the same as overclocking any other motherboard?

Pretty much, they may call some things differently (i.e. MC voltage may be called CPUVTT or DDRVTT) but not all that different, big thing is just to take things slowly

It depends on the motherboard quality and ability to overclock. Asrock z97m anniversary is best motherboard for overclock Pentium G3258. Actually asrock said to be the sister of Asus 😛 but to overclock it depends on mobo. Which Asus motherboard are you getting?
