Is overheating and WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR linked?

So my computer has been overheating as of recent, and that's a fixable solution (I'm getting new fans soon). But, sometimes after the computer overheats, it will shut down after logging in, reboot, then give me a WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR message. I currently have Seagate 1TB and Kingston 240 GB drives, an AMD FX-8350 Black Edition processor, an Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 motherobard, and a Radeon R9 270X graphics card. I am running Windows 10 and am not overclocking anything.

P.S. Before I upgraded to Windows 10, I used to have an issue where random files would corrupt at random times, and in order to fix it I needed to boot into safe mode and do sfc.exe /scannow in the console in order to get it to go past login without crashing.

P.P.S. In order to get it to work after getting WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR I ran sfc.exe /scannow in safe mode, but it said that windows couldn't perform the action.

Solution
WHEA = Windows Hardware Error Architecture, and yes, they can be caused by overheating. They normally relate to the CPU. You might want those fans sooner.

you can fix SFC possibly by running this in a command prompt with admin rights (copy/paste line below as spacing is needed):
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
