Had this monitor for about 3 years, made the mistake of overclocking it a couple of years back and was left with a faint horizontal line (very thin) and tolerable, however I recently noticed a horizontal streak on the bottom third of my monitor that would only appear after the monitor has been on for some time, this one is not so tolerable and just as vivid at 60hz, I have kept my monitor at 144hz for the past two years so it's not an overclocking issue, and the new line on my monitor goes overnight and comes back within an hour of use on the monitor.

I've tried a new display cable and even HDMI, and even changed GPU drivers so it's definitely 100% the monitor. Has anyone ever seen/dealt with this? Does it get worse overtime? I can't really afford to pay £300+ on a new g-sync monitor, and havn't got the heart to sell this one to someone else due to the issues.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, the model is an 'Acer Predator XB241H' 1080p G-sync 24"
