No, its a dead end socket, that was slow to begin with, the GPU is mid range at best. I wouldnt spend any more than $100-150 on those components if that is your only choice.

If this is some old PC you’re buying/getting for a home computer or playing SOLITAIRE AT 5 FPS!!!1!!, no. FX processors to begin with weren’t great, and it’s been EOL for a while now. The 480 is just.. no. It probably couldn’t handle most of anything these days past low-spec games as low resolution.

For a gaming rig, it definitely a budget system. But it can handle some popular e-sports games with reasonable fps at 720p and some 1080p as well. I would not build nor purchase this system. If you are purchasing it, don't spend very much money on it.

I love PC gaming, but in my opinion, you would have a better experience with a console over this system.
