Not elite like Samsung and Crucial , but so seem FAR SEEM DECENT. They haven't been in the game very long.

I saw those a few months ago and wondered why Pioneer was tryig to get back into the personal Computer arena. I used to work on their Mac clones and optical disk racks back in day (late 90's)

When is an SSD anything more than a clone of a reference design? In this case, is Pioneer's SSD any different to a standard Phison E12 OEM product?

Compare the numbers on the PCBs:

I guess Pioneer gets to choose the NAND and SDRAM manufacturers, and perhaps it also customises certain parameters in the firmware, but is there any real point of difference with other OEMs who use the same reference design?

Late to the party, but I had a Pioneer M.2 SSD die on me just outside warranty. Probably just a one off incident, but you might want to keep a tab on their RMA policy, should you get one.

I just ran across their ssd's on Amazon and decided to take a look at their warranty and it turns out that its only 36 months in the US. Most other major brands have at least a 5 year warranty on their products.
