Is PNY Geforce 500 series GTX 580 1536MB worse then other GTX 580s?

Hi,

I have a quick question. I'm shopping for a GeForce GTX 580 and currently PNY Geforce 500 series GTX 580 1536MB is priced the lowest at 381€ while the next cheapest card EVGA Geforce 500 series GTX 580 1536MB GDDR5 PCI-E comes in at 415€. Most other GTX 580s are at 430-450€ range.

Is there a simple reason for this PNY's cheapness or is it equal to the cards of other providers? Do all GTX580s perform the same (overclocking included) or should I aim for specific names?

Thank you in advance. I would hate to buy this card for it's low price just to discover that I'll never get the same performance from it afterwards.

all GTX580 is about the same, the different is just the cooler itself and of course quality. EVGA is more pricey than PNY because EVGA tends to have a good quality cards and better costumer service (RMA-ing/warranty).

All the stock gtx 580 have the same 580 gpu but their card quality and cooling design and also quality and warrenty may be different according to their prices

Because the warranty is the first thing a person look on a gpu. Better warranty a bit more they charge for them. Then its a case of the fancy coolers they throw on them and some cases like Msi change the circuitry. But its till the same chip on the same memory interface.
