is pokemon box compatible with FR/LG?

I was reading the description of Box on the pokemoncenter.com website,
and it says you need R/S, but no mention of FR/LG. And I thought I had
read elsewhere that it isn't compatible with FR/LG. If not, that's kind
of silly. But I wanted to make sure.

Thanks.

I read how you have to be the original trainer (or the one who deposited
the pokemon from R/S/FR/LG into Pokemon Box) to withdraw it, or you have
to have at least 100 pokemon in your pokedex to withdraw a pokemon from
Box. So if you deposit all your pokemon in Box, then start a new game in
R/S/FR/LG, does this mean you can't withdraw them anymore until you have
100 pokemon, or are you still considered the OT/owner?

I ask this because I read elsewhere (I think on IGN), that as long as
you are using the same cartridge, you can transfer pokemon back and
forth between the game and Box. But from the description above, it
sounds like clearing your save data may complicate this process, even if
it is the same cart.

First, Compatibility:

Yes, it's compatible. The issue is that you can play your R/S cart through
Box on the TV, but not your FR/LG cart. The rest of it works for both (all
four) versions. Since the GB Player is available, that's not really a
problem.

Second, OT:

I'm not sure on this one. I'm fairly certain that the Pokedex requirement
is there, ala Pokemon Stadium 2. This is to keep you from getting a bunch
of Pokemon, starting over, and waltzing into Misty's Gym with your
Mewtwo-Groudon-Zapdos-Registeel-Latios-Suicune team.

I think, however, that once you reach the 100 pokemon requirement you can
get your former teammates back via Box, even though they don't share your ID
Number. It doesn't make sense otherwise. But I cannot confirm this yet.

My understanding is that you can connect Fire/Leaf to Box at the same
time you can trade with R/S, i.e. when you give both the Ruby and
Sapphire plates to the guy on One Island. I don't know if this is
dependent on a Pokedex requirement or not. (The number need to get the
National Pokedex from Prof. Oak is 60, BTW.)

I do know for a fact that there's no restriction on transferring Pokemon
to carts with a different ID. I've transferred various Pokemon from
Ruby to Fire (and vice-versa) via Box.

You can connect to Box when you have National Dex but you cannot trade to a
cart - whether LG/FR or Ru/Sa until that cart has 100 Pokes. Also, you do
not have to be the original trainer to pull Poke's from Box.

So if you restart - you need the national dex AND 100 pokes before you can
pull stuff out of Box. You can however, store to Box as soon as you have the
National Dex.

So you can't start a game, get a starter, put it in Box, and then start
over and get another starter, etc.? Is this true for R/S as well, or
just FR/LG?

You may well be able to move it right into box - you just can't get it back
out till you have the 100 pokes.

I ordered Pokemon Box a little while ago. I'll let you guys know when I get
it.
