Is ps4 ethernet connection hogging bandwidth

Solution
No, not unless you have a really low ISP plan with very little bandwidth. Only two units connecting on the same wireless would compete for wireless bandwidth.

If you notice a difference between the two, that is because an Ethernet (wired) connection would have lower latency and not be subject to interference/slower speeds like wireless signals may be, so wired connections are almost always superior for gaming.
