So today my Pc didn't turn on. I tried taking apart everything, checked if it were the power switches by jump starting the pc with a screwdriver, didn't turn on.
Tried flipping the mobo battery, didn't work.
Tried taking out ram and back in, didn't work
Tried taking out 24pin and back in, didnt work.
tried holding down power button for 10-30 secs, didnt work
Then...
(psu is an XFX 650W TS btw - tier 2 4head)
completely removed the psu, did the paperclip test thing, psu didnt turn on
tried a different power cable, didn't turn on.
Tried the paperclip thing with the same power cable but on another psu, that turned on.
tried the spare psu with the components, it was only connected to the fan/mobo/cpu though, this turned on (cpu fan started spinning etc - GPU WAS NOT INSERTED)
Sooo i'm guessing it is indeed the the psu that's dead..?
