I'm in the market for a sub $200 monitor and obviously, cheaper is better. Anyway, I can get an Asus 27" for about $190 or any brand really of 24" screens. the question is, will I notice the quality of the 24" ones as being much superior? Will I be dissapointed by the bigger screens with the cheaper brands? I am going to be doing some gaming, but nothing heavy and my main uses will be day-to-day activities. Will I enjoy the extra 3"? Examples of monitors I'm looking at include the ASUS 27" http://www.amazon.com/Acer-G276HL-Gbd-27-Inch-Widescreen/dp/B00G5AEZOQ/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1419788023&sr=8-13&keywords=monitors

and the nicer 24" monitor is the BenQ gaming monitor http://www.amazon.com/BenQ-Gaming-Monitor-RL2455HM-24-Inch/dp/B007HSKSMI/ref=sr_1_5?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1419831333&sr=1-5&keywords=monitors

although im really talking about name brand 24" monitors in general. What would you get for sub $200?

Solution
as long as the resolution is 1920x1080 full HD you won't notice any difference except if you really want a larger screen for gaming.
