I have received the following message two days before on start up

"After setting up Intel Optane Memory or the RAID configuration was built, SATA mode selection must be changed to RAID mode to avoid unknown issues"

It seems that my BIOS is updated somehow through Intel Rapid storage technology .I am already running Windows 10 64 bit and so far system is running smoothly. So if I choose to change the settings to RAID in the bios, there is a possibility that my SSD data might be erased, So how important is to switch the SATA interface to RIAD, How critical is this issue?

Is it necessary ?

MY CONFIG

Intel core i7-7700K 4.2 GHz
ROG STRIX Z270F GAMING ACPI BIOS Revision 1301
DDR4- 16GB x2 -2133 MHz
ZOTAC RTX 2070 SUPER AMP EXTREME 8GB
Samsung SSD 850 EVO-256 GB
WD 1 TB Blue 7200 RPM X2
Samsung DVD RAM
Sound Blaster Z Sound Card
Corsair MX-750W 80 plus Bronze

Thanks

Your system's specs don't show you to have an Intel Optane drive. Maybe you did a typo? Go into BIOS and see what your storage options show. If you do have an Intel Optane drive in your platform, then yes you're going to have to set your storage controller to RAID to reap the benefits of Optane.

Different motherboard but same chipset and same story.
