is Ram durable

im a stupid so while I was installing my ram I was kinda rough and put a lot of pressure even when it did not fit. Yes ik its stupid. But I was just wondering if the ram should be fine been as I was kind of rough. I was like forcing it and it went in weird sometimes and it was scary. So just lmk if I should be fine. Thanks

Physical abuse can crack the balls between the DRAM dies and DIMM PCB, damage contacts in the DIMM slot, damage the edge connector on the DIMM itself, break solder joints on the motherboard around the DIMM connectors, etc.

Electrically speaking, good RAM installed properly will typically last over a decade.

No physical damage can be seen so we will have to see when my new mobo comes in
