[SOLVED] Is response time independent of refresh rate

Solution
4ms (typical G2G respons time) is 1/250th of a second. To match that response time, you'd need to be refreshing the panel at 250Hz.

Most monitors either have a ~4ms (VA/IPS) or ~1ms (TN) response time.

There's other considerations like overdrive, non-G2G response time measurements (MPRT), etc though.

Respons time will remain the same. Refresh rate is different to the monitor's signalling and processing time. The time it takes for signal to get through and then displayed on screen. It's mere milliseconds. A higher refresh rate won't change this.
