I am a first-time PC builder and recently just assembled my first PC. I acquired all the parts, except for the graphics card, about a week ago and started assembling them immediately. My graphics card, the XFX Swift 9060XT 16GB, will be arriving tomorrow. Can I simply install the GPU into the motherboard and run my PC, or do I need to follow the DDU process? Also, what is the process for DDU if I do need to use it. Do I turn off my PC, install graphics card, turn on PC, then run DDU?
For clarification, I have already used the PC using my CPU's integrated graphics. I've installed most of the drivers I think, changed my bios settings, and run a couple games of valorant.
