is ryzen 3 1300x a good entry level?

i currently have a 8350 not oc 12 gigs of ram and a 480 8 gig gpu. i was wondering if the build i picked out is better than the one i have now. and i know i could get better but im a baller on a budget and my wife wants my old computer........

Get the ASUS TUF B350M-PLUS if you can. As I understand it. It has a better VRM and OC support.

The Ryzen 5 1400 would have a longer use life due to hyperthreading (well whatever AMD calls it for their CPU). If you can I would buy that and OC it.

Also, with Microcenter, if you find another board you prefer, they give you 30 dollars off when you buy the CPU. At least that was the deal when I bought my 1600 last year.
