Question Is Ryzen 5 3600 worth than 2600 coming from 1st gen?

Hi i am currently using ryzen 3 1200 @ stock clock.

Now I want to upgrade it to Ryzen 5.
$40 is the difference for the price point.

I will upgrade my rams to 3200 too.

Got Asus Prime plus b350 currently .

If I was upgrading from a 1200, I would pay the extra $40 and get the 3600.
