Hi Smellybandaid.

Yes that board support the 5600X but you need the BIOS version 2606 minimum for that CPU to work.

That motherboard has BIOS Flashback function so you can upgrade the BIOS without a CPU installed so you're good to go.

You can always go to the MB website to check and see what CPU's will work. Always a good idea to downloads your manual as well just to keep it.
