[SOLVED] Is Ryzen 7 3800x and GTX 1050 Ti enough for VR?

Hi, my question is simple. Are the Ryzen 7 3800x and GTX 1050 Ti enough for VR gaming or will i experience lots of lag?

1050ti is a little weak for some VR titles. Really depends exactly on the game and the headset used.

CPU will be fine, GPU will likely be problematic in more visually demanding games. You'll probably want to step up to a 1660S or higher since inconsistent performance in VR can easily cause motion sickness or other similar problems.

Is this a planned build or components you already own? 3800x is a rather high end CPU while the 1050 Ti is toward the lower end of GPUs. If this is a planned build, you should get a cheaper CPU and spend more for a better GPU and get a much better VR experience. Like an R5 3600 and RTX 2060
