Question Is Samsung 970 EVO Plus compatible with Asus Prime B-350 Plus mobo?

Hi there, I would like to ask if the Samsung 970 EVO Plus Series - 1TB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD (MZ-V7S1T0B/AM) is compatible with my Asus Prime B-350 Plus motherboard?

Yes, the 970 EVO will work just fine.

You just have to note that using the M.2 slot will disable SATA ports 5 and 6 as per page vii of the manual - https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/..._UM_V3_WEB_20171114.pdf?model=PRIME B350-PLUS

Appreciate the information; it's reassuring since I currently make use of the fifth and sixth ports. Nevertheless, I've gone ahead and updated my BIOS to the latest version, 6203, with the intention of upgrading from my old Ryzen 3 1200 to the Ryzen 7 5800x. I've done some research online, and it appears that the 5800x should be compatible, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on this matter. Thanks!

It'll be fine, running a 5700x in the same motherboard. You're going to love the speed increase, just make sure your CPU cooler is up to the task.
