Is samsung f3 hd103sj windows xp compatible

I need to replace my hard drive. Before I buy this SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive I need to know if it will work with Windows XP sp3. Samsung's website only lists it as being compatible with Windows 7.

If your motherboard supports 1TB hard drives & XP, you will be good to go using that drive.

Thank you for your help but I went with a wd caviar black 1tb drive. You wouldn't happen to know where I can buy jumper shunts for this drive, it was a bare drive and didn't come with any and the data transfer speed is too high for my motherboard.
