[SOLVED] Is Scanning and repairing game files faster on SSD and NVMe?

I'm currently scanning and repairing Modern Warfare, a massive game which is on my NVMe and I'm wondering if the speed of this scan would be different on a SATA SSD or an HDD.

Depends on teh game and how the files are structured. Random Read/Write speeds arent much difference between SATA and NVMe

but between a SSD and HDD, yes massively. SSDs are just much faster then HDD overall.

Random speeds is where the difference is HUGE! 1000x
Unfortunately its the slow network talking back and forth comparing all the files is what slows it down.
