[SOLVED] is sea sonic S12III 650w 80+ bronze good for my build?

this is my build:
GPU:MSI GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER VENTUS XS OC
CPU: i5 9400f
motherboard: asrock h310CM-HDV
psu:xigmatek xpower 500w 80plus
ram: corsair 8x2 2900mHz
the reason that i want to change it is a lot of people told me that the reason that my Pc freezes is my power supply so i want to change it.

You could do better. It's not a great power supply. A higher quality 550W would be better than a lower quality 650W, like Corsair RM550x or Seasonic Focus GX-550. If you need a lower cost model the Corsair CX550 would work.

Unfortunately, the only way to determine if a psu is faulty is to replace with a known good replacement
The seasonic S12II is an older unit and was once one of the better units.
But times have changed and modern motherboards with power saving options will benefit from a current gen psu.
I do like the Seasonic units, and the new Core units are reasonably priced.
550w is fine, but I would buy 650 or even 750w to allow for future upgrades.
A PSU will only use the wattage demanded of it, regardless of it's max capability.
