Is Seasonic M12II-520 EVO compatible with UPS with Stepped Approximation to Sine Wave wavetype?

I'm planning to buy a UPS along with the said power supply. However, I am worried that the power supply, with PFC as one of its features, would not cut the power when source is switched from the grid into the UPS. Will M12II-520 Evo accept the stepped approximation sinewave output of a UPS?
