Is Skyrim fun on pc?

Solution
It runs smoother on PC, less buggy for the most part, and all around less clunky using a mouse to operate in menus etc.
There are a plethora of mods that fit any play style.

If all else fails you can always console in cheese cannons...
I personally like it more on PC.
Well, Elder Scrolls Online is in Closed BETA now. Which is THE Skyrim online in 2014. So if you are into that..
Might wanna check it out:

Thanks may give it a shot, since DICE has just ruined BF4 as of 2-3 days ago.

I keep having an itch to play Metro. Have you played it?

Yeah man i just built my 1st pc on the 1st of this month. I love my computer 😉

if you loved it on console you'll love it even more on PC imo, if you're more of a controller gamer there's options for that, and some of the mods out there are just great, they fix bugs, add new content, and one of the more prominent mods adds a whole new map/world/land to the game, a full fledged DLC all for free. Out of all the mods I have though I think Skyrim Redone is the mod that makes the most noticable changes to the game, AI, combat, perks, weapons are all changed pretty drastically.

You have a ton of flexibility of what kind game you want Skyrim to be, there are mods for visual changes, animation changes, difficulty changes, perk changes, etc.

I've uploaded some screenshots of what the game could look like, I've used high quality textures for almost every aspect of the game including buildings, rocks, trees, and grass, and an ENB (changes bloom and color saturation to give a different feel to the game) of my choosing. And this only showcases the visuals changes you can make.

*will link to screenshots once this uploading is finished, my connection is pretty slow

Thanks! I look foward to the screen shots.

Question, are the HD mods to make the game look more visually stunnign?

yes, and they definitely do just that, basically vanilla skyrim uses pretty low resolution textures for various "unimportant" misc objects like grass, trees, leaves, the wood on buildings, etc

but with the best HD mods the authors hand make 2k textures to enhance realism and add some depth to the sometimes flat areas you encounter, it's not like a total transformation, but it does help take Skyrim to that next level

gallery is up! don't know why it took forever, each screenshot is like 5 megabytes...

lol i suggest using an organizer to organize all your mods, Mod Organizer being the best of them, it uses data virtualization so you don't clutter your game folder with files, and if one of those mods is incompatible or causes issues, you can just deactivate it instead of sift through the millions of mod files in your folders to find the right ones xD

I just hope they do not completely run The Elder Scrolls like so many other games have by going MMO and forgetting what really made the game the Single Player!

As far as the PC goes I think it is much better on PC and there are many many mod's that can make it better. Check out the Nexus they have a great many mods for just about any thing you can think of.
