Is SLI good for me in a hot environment?

Hey guys, I was wondering if SLI is good for my PC. I live in Hawaii, so when I want to game in the afternoon, it would be 70-85 degrees fahrenheit in my room. (And yes, I will only be gaming in the afternoon. You know, coming home from school.) I also do not have Air Conditioning. In my room, I only have 2 windows but 1 stays closed and the other blows very small amount of air in my room. Also, I only have 1 Lasko Fan facing me. My room is very hot.

So my question is, will my PC be good for SLI even though the environment is hot?

I will be SLI-ing GTX 950s. The Wattage of those 2 is 145 each. 290W together. Will my PC handle that much heat while grabbing air from my bad air-ventilationing room?

If not, I will just get a GTX 970. :) You might be asking, why do I want to SLI GTX 950s. Well, the games that I will be mostly playing will be SLI compatible games. (GTA V, BF Hardline, BF4, Project Cars, etc.)

Well as long as you can keep both card below 80c then it should be fine. Anything below 90c still fine but nvidia card will start to throttle at high temperature. But instead of two 950 why not try getting 970 instead. Less hassle, less heat but much faster in performance. Though a bit expensive than two 950.

Yeah, no. That's not going to happen in my room. Literally. 😛 75-85 Degrees Fahrenheit, and only 1 fan and 1 small window. We don't even have A/C.

try getting some fans with your 2 cards so air can circulate the room, it may be hot air but better then having your pc melt
