Is sm951 NVMe compatible with the hero vii ?

My motherboard is asus Maximus hero vii, will it run the sm951 NVMe properly at full speed?

in the m2 slot i think it may be limited to pci-e 3 at x2 --though still severely fast

think you need a pci-e adapter card to run it at x4

or a x99 motherboard

or another option would be intel 750

no idea it will depend which country you are in and you would have to research if some are better than others

the intel 750 already comes as pci-e

and in some tests beats the sm951 NVMe

highest read write speed isnt everything
