Is Sparkle's NVIDIA 8400GS 1Gb a Good one for future?

Hi there!

My PC is too old to play games on it. Its a DDR2 model of 2007. one of my friend is insisting me to buy his NVIDIA's 8400GS in less that 2k and I've already tried on it many games like Tomb Raider: Underworld, Moder Warfare 2, NFS Most Wanted, etc...which runs mostly on medium to high settings

Would buying it is a good decision or not?

I would sugest getting a card with at least 2 gigs of ram

I would not recommend that graphics card as it's so old. There have been quite a few generations of graphics cards since the 8400GS was released: GTX7xx. GTX6xx, GTX5xx, GTX4xx. GTX2xx, and finally the 9xxx series.

No its really old.
I suggest something like a Radeon 6670, you should be able to get one for about Rs.4000 and it should provide about 3x the performance and it
is fully DX11 compatible
