[SOLVED] Is Supermax any good?

I am going to build a PC for my friend, and need a 350-400w power supply and was wondering if the brand Supermax is any good? If not, do you think that SeaSonic is good? Thanks!

Never heard of them, but a quick google search found one on ebay for $16 and it's just lazily rebranded generic garbage.

If you are looking for a budget unit look at the Corsair CX450.

It's new in box, not on fleabay, will have a 5 yr warranty and a newer platform than that Seasonic. Well worth the extra $12

i have nothing against seasonic as a whole... but it's dangerous to call a whole lineup good, especially as i know some have issues

this isn't bound to Corsair, this is bound to about every psu company, and i started to notice people start to call out per company, not per model

i approve of cx450 here
