Is swapping graphics cards easy?

I want a high end graphics card but I know I can afford a cheap 1 sooner so if I build with high end parts and install a cheap graphics card to just get basic game play is it as easy as pulling out the card and putting in the other? I'd assume I'd have to update the drivers this is all new I don't own a PC and this will be my 1st build! Thank You

You remove the current drivers, power down, disconnect any power to the GPU, remove it, insert the new one, connect power, boot, install new drivers.
Takes about 20 minutes total.

Yes, it's just a matter of swapping the graphics cards and installing the correct drivers. This assumes during your original build, you purchase a power supply sufficient to power the latter upgrade.

It is pretty easy yes, just touch some piece of grounded metal before you swap them, and get the new driver. Also, make sure your psu can handle the new card.
