Is System Compatible?

This is my first build and I was wondering if what I was choosing was compatible with eachother.

Also, I was thinking of doing it myself, but I have no idea how to put it together. So I was going to just order from ibuypower.com and was wondering if they do an ok job and not slap things together regardless of if it would work once I get it.

Here's what I chose for a system I will use mostly for newer gaming (EVE, GTA4, and newer MMOs as they come out this summer) and a system that I can upgrade as time goes on (5 years or so):

Mobo:
GIGABYTE GA-MA790XT-UD4P AM3 DDR3 AMD 790X ATX AMD

CPU:
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core

GPU:
EVGA 896-P3-1255-AR GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP

RAM:
Kingston 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600)

PSU:
CORSAIR CMPSU-620HX 620W ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 SLI Certified

Case:
Thermaltake Armor Series VA8003BWS Black Full Tower Case w/ 25CM Fan

The rest I will just grab whatever. So, do these things mix well and would ibuypower.com be a good place to get it from?

As far as I know, they will work. As sick as that GTX260 deal is, I'd look into getting an ATI card for crossfire purposes. You could crossfire these, or get this. The 4770s would perform better, the 4870 slightly worse. Of course, getting the 4770s would leave your board full anyways. eh.

Long story short, I've just giving you other options. The 4770s would perform amazingly, and the 4870 would leave you upgrade room. The GTX260 is a beast of a card as well, though and that's a good deal. If you have the little extra money, I'd get the 4770s, if you have an interest in Clear Sky, get the 4870. Otherwise, up to you.

Not too sure if I'll crossfire them yet. I'm gonna be in 7th heaven with the GTX260 as it as as I am currently running a 128MB 5200! :??: Can anyone else tell me if it looks good or if they have heard nothing but good stories for ibuypower?

Just do it yourself. Watch a youtube tutorial, read an article or two, get help here as needed. It's not hard.

I'm not sure you got what smithereen was saying.

That's a crossfire board, so you cannot use a second GTX 260 on it.
If you want to leave the option of crossfire open, get a 4870 1GB card for it now.

For the case, this one has all the design features:

It may not suit your aesthetic sense, I realize, but in every other way it's the better case.

There are a few other cases I could recommend as well. The Thermaltake is good, if you must have it.

The 620HX is a nice one, but a bit light for future crossfire.... How about this?

Antec 1200 case and 850W PSU

That gives you a truly top of the line case and a very nice PSU... maybe a bit more power than you need, but that's just longevity.
