Is team elite ram OK? Will it perform and last as long as famous brands?

I'm in Thailand and elite ram is about the same price for 16 gigs as good brand for 8....

Would it be a good choice?

It will work just the same as other memory with the same speed and timings. It comes with the same lifetime warranty as the other memory because they do not expect it to fail.

But how can it be cheaper?

What is ram made of, do they use cheaper material? Less marketing?

This is so strange...16 gigs of Ram from reputable companies cost more than my i5 8400...and CPU has fan, bigger box, tons more research etc...

Are ram companies ripping us off?

Depends on where you live, most memory parts are just made by a few companies then sold to the different manufactures.
In the US their very closely priced to the rest with the same specks.
