Hi, I'm considering to buy Tecware Phantom 87, a TKL mechanical keyboard with Outemu Switches. I love the minimalistic design and the font of the keyboard, most of the YouTube tech reviewer said that the keyboard is a good value keyboard knowing that it only costs around $45. But I recently read the Amazon Reviews about that keyboard, and there are hundres of people who gave 1 or 2 star(s) only for the product. Most of them said that the keyboard is no longer as responsive as it should be for several months of use , double click, bad switch, uneven RGB lighting, etc. Maybe it is a product defect, but as a consumer, I am also afraid of experiencing the same bad thing, knowing that it is classified as a budget/cheap keyboard.

Now I'm confused whether I should still buy it or looking for another keyboard.
And are similarly priced keyboards out there also happened to be like that?

You need to understand that most sellers tend to give away hardware to a reviewer or tech channel and ask them to put in a good word about their product. If the product truly is good, then the channel or site gives them that accolade but often times when the product goes off the shelves, the next batch of units are faulty or with bad craftsmanship...so the tactic behind reviewers to say good about XYZ is to help their sales at the expense of the customer.

I'd ask you to save some money and buy something more...reliably build and mechanical keyboards can't be that cheap, that doesn't even cover the cost of the switches.

Yeah, I know about that tech reviewer "thing", but not all of them are asked to talk about all the goods of it, sometimes they also tell the truth and speak honestly.

To be honest I only have that budget. Can't go more than $50, I don't even think to get $100 keyboard, for me it is too expensive and I have spent most of my money for my PC build recently, so do you have any recommendation of good and durable keyboard around my budget?
Thanks :)

My rgb mechanical kB was 60$ from Rosewill. It is serve me for years—been super reliable and I’ve been very happy with it

I have also owned very expensive mechanical keyboards which I like even less than the Rosewill

Sadly, we don't have that keyboard in our country 🙁
But it looks dope tho haha

Any other recommendation? Thanks...

In your price range with whatever limited stock you can pick from, the keyboards will be all the same. Most are out of the same factories just with different stickers or colors on them. Reviewers don't often keep products for week or months to test for any issues over time, they check on new products for a few days or maybe some review samples for a short time as well.
